What’s involved?

1.
Information pack sent in response to an enquiry

Qualicoat notifies Azuma Design
 
3.
Azuma processes the application and schedules first audit. Data logged into computerised master data base
 
4.
Azuma conducts first audit and selects samples if no deficiencies found during audit
 
5.
Assessment report including discrepancies (if any) issued by Azuma
 
6.
Azuma conducts second audit and selects samples if not selected during step three. If failure in first audit three months before second audit
 
7.
Azuma reviews results on test samples. Test result deficiencies will require correction prior to recommendation for certification
 
8.
Azuma recommends certification once audit and test results satisfactory Licence issued
 
9.
Azuma starts ongoing surveillance for certification maintenance. Normally two unannounced audits per year. If failure found, follow-up audit within one month. Second failure, immediate licence cancellation
